Creating Branding Magic At An AI Event Activation

We were delighted when the folks from CrowdStrike asked us if we had a fun photo experience for their upcoming networking event. CrowdStrike is a cybersecurity company – so we thought this was the perfect opportunity for an AI event activation.

Upon looking at their website we noticed that they had come up with what they called “adversaries” – which are the bad guys of the internet.    What if we turned all their guests into these adversaries? They loved the idea and we started coding to create an AI Photo Booth to achieve this.

How It worked

The genius behind this AI event activation was creating multiple characters.  We took 3 of their most interesting adversaries and created AI filters for each of them.  Guests then chose from “Famous Chollima”, “Bounty Hunter Jackal” and “Liminal Panda”.  They were all interesting characters and we created a dynamic AI background as well. Once the photo was taken our AI cloud server took 60-180 seconds to create the new image which was then printed and shared right from the Photo Booth.

We branded all the assets for this activation.  From the Start screen to the sharing email – everything had the CrowdStrike branding. Needless to say this activation was a huge hit! We had created 3 different options for the adversary characters. Everyone wanted to be all 3 characters – talk about driving up engagement at an event!  The results with the AI Photo Booth always generate a big laugh and part of the anticipation is waiting to see what the AI will come up with.
