As a Valletta waterfront wedding venue, few locations can match the stunning harbor views and incredible atmosphere at Porticello Restaurant.
We were in for an absolute treat at our most recent wedding. Indeed, the location was super unique and perhaps not somewhere you might initially expect to see a full luxury wedding celebration.
Featuring a gorgeous terrace that extends right to the water’s edge, this incredible space was exactly what Elysia and Stefan chose to celebrate their nuptials.
Arriving at a Luxury Valletta Waterfront Wedding Venue
Their day kicked off with an unforgettable entrance. Elysia and Stefan arrived at the sun-drenched harbor in a jaw-dropping, vintage cream Cadillac, instantly setting a classic yet high-energy tone for the rest of the evening.
We set up our gear in a prime, picturesque location right by the water, and we were instantly greeted by warm, smiling faces. The atmosphere at this iconic Valletta waterfront wedding venue was unmatched, seamlessly blending historic stone bastions with an intimate, modern party vibe.
Photo Booth Fun at the Waterfront
The energy stayed high as guests crowded around a beautiful, lush white and blush-pink floral backdrop.
Everyone took turns posing for our interactive Snapshot Photo Booth, leaving the newlyweds with a guestbook packed with amazing printouts, sweet messages, and memories to last a lifetime.
Live Music at Porticello
Interestingly, the groom, Stefan, is actually a bit of a local celebrity in the Malta wedding market. Because he is a talented singer and musician with years of experience in the industry, he performs at many weddings across the island. We’ve crossed paths countless times over the years, so it was an absolute honor to finally be behind the lens for his and Elysia’s big day.
Needless to say, Stefan couldn’t resist getting in on the action! He went onto the stage, picked up his bass guitar, and proceeded to play an incredible live set with the wedding band.
This surprise performance completely electrified the crowd! As a result, everybody ran out onto the dance floor and officially kicked off the evening celebrations in epic style.
